A “Panic Button” for minors on every page of the site sounds like a great idea, although I can imagine it being abused more often than actually used. Maybe a better idea would be to not allow younger children to use Facebook in the first place.

Thriv’Able Thursday (III): Texting and Driving

AT&T is helping educate people about the dangers of texting and driving. My hope is that avoiding texting and driving will one day be as common as wearing seatbelts. One of those things that comes automatically, although the occasional reminder doesn’t hurt.

First responders are another issue. Maybe this is a good opportunity for hands-free voice activated systems that talk back, too.
