Statistics: Economic Optimism, Or Not

Resource: 35% — An Optimism Gap via Pew Research.

Only 35% in an October Pew Research Center survey expected better economic conditions by October 2011, while 16% expected a still weaker economy.

According to the report, we are much less optimistic about the economy than our ancestors in the 1930s and even less optimistic than those in early 1980s.

How can we get things turned around without individual and national optimism?
