Sure, your grandchildren will snicker, but what kind of child doesn’t laugh at the humble old ways. Just remind them that we were the ones who walked across the Plains, so to speak, so they wouldn’t have to.

Over the last year I’ve started to notice that while technology allows us to connect to people far away, it can simultaneously disconnect us from people who may be directly in front of us.

I have been observing this same type of activity, or lack thereof, in myself and others. It is a sign that our digital lives, whatever that means, are maturing.
