I’m posting this as a food-for-thought item. Oftentimes the individual Internet user does not realize just how much of our society is now interconnected with networks and the Internet. Yes, it’s more and bigger than e-mail, Twitter, and Facebook.
That being said, is it even possible for the Net to go down? I mean the entire Net, worldwide. Or, would it be more like a local natural disaster such as an earthquake or hurricane where the rest of the world steps in to help?
