Tweetmeme channels can be programmed to pick up only select news sources. So, in contrast to the sober tone of stories in the Los Angeles Times and elsewhere, the mood is positive and light.
We live in interesting times. I do not claim to understand what is happening but I can see that some of the “old guard” companies and brands are having a difficult time “getting it”.
Therein lies the opportunity. No, not for vanquishing the old guard. Rather, the opportunity is for us, the users and the strategists, to lead the old guard into the new way.
